Much of the property's charm has been achieved by cutting and pruning. This beautiful old zambujeira, a wild olive, was 'discovered' by hacking away carloads of undergrowth. As a gift, there also appeared a young wild palm, Chamaerops humilis, whose leaves light up in the setting sun.
